Impact Units
Impact Units provide a structured pathway connecting sustainability support with an eligible local project, field delivery, traceable evidence, monitoring, reporting and appropriate assurance. They are not automatically carbon credits, securities or independently verified claims.
Define the intended support
Record the supporter, quantity, programme or project purpose, applicable price or contribution terms, and agreed reporting boundary.
Connect units to eligible local delivery
MDF reviews the proposed project, community role, safeguards, budget, activities and implementation responsibility before treating support as allocated.
Record real field delivery
Responsible teams record approved activities, locations, species or intervention type, quantities, dates, photographs and supporting evidence.
Follow results over the agreed period
Monitoring records progress, survival or relevant indicators, corrective action, expenditure and community benefits according to the applicable project methodology.
State assurance accurately
Reported, reviewed and independently verified results remain clearly distinguished. Verification applies only where an authorized verifier has completed an agreed scope.
